2021 Start Line Protocols/Self-Seed Zones

 

200 mile

Saturday, June 6th at 6am

Once again, we will be asking riders to self-seed by projected finish line times, but will be providing ample room to spread out on Commercial. While you are on the start line, we want masks or buffs covering both your nose and mouth please. There will be a 2 mile neutral roll out by our Emporia Police Department. We will provide signage as such:

800 Block of Commercial (Commercial between 8th & 9th – home of Granada Theatre)

10 hour finish time

12 hour finish time

700 Block of Commercial (Commercial between 7th & 8th – home of Gravel City Adventure & Supply)

14 hour finish time

16 hour finish time

600 Block of Commercial (Commercial between 6th & 7th)

18 hour finish time

20+ hour finish time

 

100 mile

Saturday, June 6th at 7am

Juniors

Friday, June 5th at 10am

Athletes will line up in the 700 block of Mechanic for a group start with masks/buffs covering noses and mouths. There will be a 2 mile neutral roll out by our Emporia Police Department.

Timing will stop at the finish line set up on Highland north of ESU, riders to roll back to the 700 block to pick up their finishers award. 

25/50 Mile Ride

Friday, June 5th at 10:30am

50 milers will line up in the front, 25 milers in behind in the 700 block of Mechanic for a group start with masks/buffs covering noses and mouths. There will be a 2 mile neutral roll out by our Emporia Police Department. Timing will stop at the finish line set up on Highland north of ESU, riders to roll back to the 700 block to pick up their finishers award. 

 

XL- 350 Miles

Friday, June 5th at 3pm

The start will be in the 700 block of Mechanic heading north. Riders will be asked to wear masks/buffs for the 2 mile neutral roll out led by the Emporia Police Department. Finish will be on Commercial Street on Saturday.
