Emergency Text Services – Keep up to date race weekend!

Once again, we are partnering with Lyon County Emergency Communications Center. This service provides automatic alerts directly to your cell phone and we highly recommend it for athletes, support crews, and volunteers. To opt in to alerts please text “Unbound” to 888-777. You will be automatically removed on June 8. These alerts will cover Lyon, Wabaunsee, Morris, and Chase counties. 

You will receive automated warnings June 2 – 8 for the following:

• NWS Warnings, Advisories, and Watches:
• 911 Telephone Outage
• Excessive heat warning
• Extreme wind warning
• Flash flood warning
• Flood warning
• High wind warning
• Local area emergency
• Nuclear power plant warning
• Red flag warning
• Severe thunderstorm warning
• Shelter in place warning
• Storm warning
• Tornado warnings
