Covid-19 Safety Measures

Things are indeed improving here locally in Emporia, KS. However, that doesn’t mean we can take a collective sigh of relief just yet. We all need to do our utmost to protect ourselves and keep those around us safe. To that end, we are confident that our camps will provide a safe opportunity to get back to doing what we love most, exploring the world on two wheels and pushing our boundaries!
From now until camp, please remain diligent in following all Covid-19 precautionary guidelines. We ask this not only for your safety but for the safety of all people that you will encounter before, during, and after your trip. Whether you are flying or driving into Emporia, maintain those 6 feet of social distancing with folks outside of your home, wash your hands, and continue to use masks whenever necessary!
Most of our time at camp will be spent in the open Flint Hills riding our bikes. We will be providing a buff to all camp athletes and ask that you wear a face covering whenever you cannot maintain appropriate social distancing, even when on the bike. We will be utilizing the Davis Theatre at the Emporia Arts Center for our dinners and talks. During these times, tables and seating will be spread according to social distancing guidelines. Masks will always be required indoors except when eating.
While the trends are good, we know not to rest on our laurels. We will be continually monitoring the situation with local health and civic leaders. If you have any questions in the meantime, don’t hesitate to reach out!

We will keep athletes updated as we receive new information about the local situation.
