Event Registration and Random Selection Process
Due to high demand, we are unable to accommodate everyone who wishes to participate in Life Time UNBOUND Gravel presented by Shimano. Therefore, a random selection process will be utilized to determine who will be allowed to participate in the 2025 UNBOUND Gravel events.
The process described herein pertains to the 350-mile, 200-mile, 100-mile, 50-mile, and 25-mile distance options for the 2025 Life Time UNBOUND Gravel presented by Shimano.
Individuals have the opportunity to submit their name for participation in the UNBOUND Gravel XL, 200, 100, 50, or 25 from November 1, 2024 @ 12:00 pm CT until November 15, 2024 @ 11:59 pm CT. Registration for event entry selection is free of charge. However, credit card information is collected at the time you submit your name for consideration. Your credit card is charged only if you are accepted to participate in the event. Only one entry per person Lottery winner will be announced November 21, 2024.
Life Time Members Early Access Registration
Life Time owns and produces some of the most incredible athletic events in the world, including UNBOUND Gravel. Along with athletic events, Life Time’s goal is to reshape the way people approach health and fitness with its healthy way of life communities. Life Time members — after six months of Club-Access Membership — get entry to our athletic events one week before the event registration opening to the general public or guaranteed registration in lotteries*.
*Exception for Leadville Trail 100s.
Lottery Selection and Payment Information
Winning entries will be selected November 21st, subject to event eligibility requirements. These selected event participants will be notified by email, per the contact information they provide. Each participant’s credit card will be charged the event registration fee, a processing fee, state sales tax, as well as any additional fees for add-on items chosen by the participant. Those applicants who were not selected for participation will also be notified.

Race one of our five official qualifiers for a chance to earn a spot on the start line in Kansas.

- 50% Random Drawing: Half the coins will be up for grabs in a random drawing. Everyone’s got a shot!
- Distances: finishers of the 90-mile and will be eligible for a coin.

Heathland Gravel Aug 9-11:
Heathland Gravel will take place the weekend of August 8-10, 2025 and 50 spots will be earned to the 2026 UNBOUND Gravel event. The spots will be split evenly based on performance and random lottery.

Selection Rules
- Only one application for selection per person. Individuals found to have multiple applications will have ALL applications voided and removed from consideration.
- Consideration will be given to multi-time UNBOUND Gravel 200 Finishers nearing 1,000 Mile Club status.
- The entire selection and registration process shall be at the sole discretion of the event organizers, whose decisions and interpretations shall be final and binding.
- Event organizers reserve the right to cancel, terminate, suspend, or modify the selection process at any time and for any reason.
- Event organizers reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to disqualify any individual suspected or believed to be tampering with the entry selection process, or to be acting in violation of these rules, or acting in such a way as to be detrimental to the integrity of this event.
- Event organizers shall not be responsible for incomplete entries, declined credit cards, nor entries received after the application deadline.

Athlete Option 1 Refund Option
- 90+ days out – 70% refund
- 60-89 days out – 50% refund
- 30-59 days out – 40% refund
Athlete Option 2 Deferral
- Complimentary, guaranteed entry into the following year’s event.
- A race entry can only be deferred one time and only to the following year’s event.
All deferrals must be submitted to unboundgravel@ltevents.zendesk.com no later than midnight on Wednesday May 28th, the day before packet pickup. You WILL NOT be able to pick up your packet if your entry is deferred to the next year.
Military/Active Duty can request refund in full or deferral to following year at no cost. Must email unboundgravel@ltevents.zendesk.com with request and must show deployment paper or letter showing orders.

- Attend one of our two official UNBOUND Gravel Qualifiers for a chance to skip the lottery for the following year
- You or a loved one can volunteer 10 hours at the 2025 event to skip the lottery in 2026!
Life Time Member Guaranteed Entry
- Life Time members who have held a Club-Access membership for at least 6 months prior to the lottery are eligible for guaranteed entry into the UNBOUND Gravel XL, 200, and 100 events.

- Para – Para athletes are individuals with physical impairments including permanently impaired muscle power, athetosis, impaired passive range of motion, hypertonia, limb deficiency, ataxia, leg length difference, and vision impairment.
