2024 Event Registration and Random Selection Process

Due to high demand, we are unable to accommodate everyone who wishes to participate in Garmin UNBOUND Gravel.  Therefore, a random selection process will be utilized to determine who will be allowed to participate in the 2024 UNBOUND Gravel events.

The process described herein pertains to the 350-mile, 200-mile, 100-mile, 50-mile, and 25-mile distance options for the 2023 Garmin UNBOUND Gravel.  (Garmin UNBOUND Gravel Juniors will utilize a separate process.)

Individuals have the opportunity to submit their name for participation in the UNBOUND Gravel XL from December 1, 2023 until December 15, 2023, and the UNBOUND Gravel 200, 100, 50, or 25 from January 5, 2024 @ 12:00 pm CT until January 20, 2024 @ 11:59 pm CT. Registration for event entry selection is free of charge. However, credit card information is collected at the time you submit your name for consideration. Your credit card is charged only if you are accepted to participate in the event.

Life Time Members Early Access Registration

Life Time owns and produces some of the most incredible athletic events in the world, including UNBOUND Gravel. Along with athletic events, Life Time’s goal is to reshape the way people approach health and fitness with its healthy way of life communities. Life Time members — after six months of Club-Access Membership — get entry to our athletic events one week before the event registration opening to the general public or guaranteed registration in lotteries.

Lottery Selection and Payment Information

Winning entries will be selected at the end of January, subject to event eligibility requirements. These selected event participants were notified by email, per the contact information they provide. Each participant’s credit card will be charged the event registration fee, a processing fee, state sales tax, as well as any additional fees for add-on items chosen by the participant. Those applicants who were not selected for participation will also be notified.

Heathland Qualifier

The Life Time UNBOUND Gravel team is excited to reach new terrain as we partner with the team at Flander Classic for their new event, Heathland Gravel, as the first ever UNBOUND Gravel qualifier!

Heathland Gravel will take place the weekend of August 9-11, 2024 and 50 spots will be earned to the 2025 UNBOUND Gravel event. The spots will be split evenly based on performance and random lottery.

Selection Rules

  • Only one application for selection per person. Individuals found to have multiple applications will have ALL applications voided and removed from consideration.
  • Consideration will be given to multi-time UNBOUND Gravel 200 Finishers nearing 1,000 Mile Club status.
  • The entire selection and registration process shall be at the sole discretion of the event organizers, whose decisions and interpretations shall be final and binding.  
  • Are you looking for a way to bypass the lottery for the 2024 or 2025 UNBOUND Gravel XL, 200, or 100? Life Time members who have held a digital or in-club membership for at least 6 months (by lottery open date) are eligible for early entry into the XL, 200, or 100 mile event lotteries! In order to claim your preferred spot, you’ll need to register with your member number HERE. The deadline to claim early XL entry for Life Time members is 11/30/23. The deadline to claim early 200/100 entry for Life Time members is 1/4/24.
  • Event organizers reserve the right to cancel, terminate, suspend, or modify the selection process at any time and for any reason.  
  • Event organizers reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to disqualify any individual suspected or believed to be tampering with the entry selection process, or to be acting in violation of these rules, or acting in such a way as to be detrimental to the integrity of this event.  
  • Event organizers shall not be responsible for incomplete entries, declined credit cards, nor entries received after the application deadline.

Refunds, Transfers, Deferrals:

90+ Defer into the following year, repay 50% of entry fee.
89 Or Less Defer into the following year, repay 100% of entry fee.

No refunds or transfers.

Athlete Option 1 Refund Option

  • 90+ days out – 70% refund
  • 60-89 days out – 50% refund
  • 30-59 days out – 40% refund

Athlete Option 2 Deferral

  • Complimentary, guaranteed entry into the following year’s event.
  • A race entry can only be deferred one time and only to the following year’s event.

All deferrals must be submitted to unboundgravel@ltevents.zendesk.com no later than midnight on Wednesday May 29th, the day before packet pickup. You WILL NOT be able to pick up your packet if your entry is deferred to the next year.

Military/Active Duty can request refund in full or deferral to following year at no cost. Must email unboundgravel@ltevents.zendesk.com with request and must show deployment paper or letter showing orders.

  • Gain a guaranteed spot in 2024 by teaming up with our charity partners
  • Gain a guaranteed spot in 2024 by signing up for UNBOUND Gravel Training Camp + Entry
  • Gain a guaranteed spot in 2024 by signing up for our coaching package
  • You or a loved one can volunteer 10 hours at the 2024 event to skip the lottery in 2025!

Life Time Member Guaranteed Entry

  • Life Time members who have held a digital or in-club membership for at least 6 months prior to the lottery are eligible for guaranteed entry into the UNBOUND Gravel XL, 200, and 100 events.

    • Member Guaranteed Registration: November 24, 2023
    • General Lottery: December 1-15, 2023
    • Member registration opens at 10 AM MST on 11/24/23
  • UNBOUND Gravel 200/100 –June 1, 2024
    • Member Guaranteed Registration: December 29, 2023
    • General Lottery: Jan 5-20, 2024
    • Member registration opens at 10 AM MST on 12/29/23
