Make sure you’re ready to conquer the Flint Hills! Run through this list, run through it again, then go for a ride and run through it one more time just for good measure.

Packet Pickup

All United States & Canada based participants are now required to use the Life Time App for packet pickup.

Before you arrive, complete the following steps:

  • Create or connect your Life Time account by clicking the link provided in a personalized email we’ve sent you.
  • After creating or connecting your account, download the Life Time App. Be sure to use the Download link found in your email.

Make sure you’re using Life Time App version 17 or higher. You can check your app version in your device settings or app store.

  • Navigate to the card/pass section to access your event pass

Athlete Guides

Food & Beverage Redemption

Every athlete will receive on their bike plate a $12 food & drink voucher that can be redeemed at participating vendors and restaurants. The Axe Shedd will be serving pizza for riders who finish after midnight.

Athletes 21+ will also receive a free beer tab for one Free State Brewing Company beer.

Emergency Text Updates

Once again, we are partnering with Lyon County Emergency Communications Center. This service provides automatic alerts directly to your cell phone and we highly recommend it for athletes, support crews, and volunteers. To opt in to alerts please text “UNBOUND” to 888-777. You will be automatically removed after the event. These alerts will cover Lyon, Greenwood, Butler, Woodson, and Chase counties.

You will receive automated warnings for the following:

  • NWS Warnings, Advisories, and Watches:
  • 911 Telephone Outage
  • Excessive heat warning
  • Extreme wind warning
  • Flash flood warning
  • Flood warning
  • High wind warning
  • Local area emergency
  • Nuclear power plant warning
  • Red flag warning
  • Severe thunderstorm warning
  • Shelter in place warning
  • Storm warning
  • Tornado warnings
